My Roots

Our story

We take you back to where you began.

My Roots was born from a simple belief: that standing in the place your family came from changes how you understand yourself. For Jewish adults, that place is rarely one country — it's a diaspora scattered across continents, each with its own synagogues, cemeteries, recipes, and stories.

We design small-group journeys that treat heritage as living, not museum-bound. Our guides are historians and locals both. Our groups stay small on purpose. And we handle every logistical detail — so the only thing you carry is the experience.

What we believe

Four principles behind every trip.

Small groups

Eight to fourteen travelers — never a coach of forty. Real conversation, real access.

Scholars who belong

Guides who are historians and locals both, so the story comes from the inside.

Roots, not sightseeing

Itineraries built around communities and family history — with time to actually feel it.

Handled end to end

Flights, kosher dining, deposits, and refunds managed in one place, by people who answer.

Come home to a place you've never been.
